How can I create a global-chat inside a group (like the basic principles course)?

I have joined the basic principles course, I see I can connect to every one, but, as a faculty, how can I create a chat inside this group?

Dear Miguel,

Many thanks for your question. Right now, it is not possible to create a chat in a group. However, for events, we are discussing with AO event organizers the possibility to add the group functionality on the "event live page“ so participants and in particular faculty can post directly to all course participants. What do you think about this functionality? Do you think it would be useful?

Hi, in June 2023 we will upgrade myAO to include Live Event Discussion within the event page. Beside chat with the participants, contributors will be able to have a separate chat for Contributors only.
